Criteria A-Introduction to spreadsheet

Task 1:

Spreadsheet is and document that is electronic based controlled and has columns and rows in grids.  Spreadsheet is one of the most important data document's that is used in both types of business small or big. This document is like Microsoft Word but instead has rows and columns. Spreadsheets are based on electronic document known as Excel. The data is showed in the rows and columns. The rows and columns can help in finding data quickly and easily, it can calculate numeric data and it can arrange the data very quickly and accurately. An example where spreadsheet could be used is when you need to calculate your bank balance.

There are many types of ways you can present your data using spreadsheets. In this case, Excel has presented to us 3 ways that we can generate data using spreadsheets and those 3 are:
  •  Simple or in other words "Grey Cell".
  •  Excel Tables
  •  PivotTables
Simple/Grey Cell was in Excel ever since. Excel Tables was introtuced in Excel in 2007.  PivotTables was introtuced to Excelin 2010.

Excel/Spreadsheets is a world wide program that is being used by thousands of people everyday in their day to day life. Accountants are one of the people who use spreadsheet in their daily life's for keeping track of their money going to their business and money they are recieving. This is important because it help them caluculate how well their busness is going. This will even help them while giving salery to their staff members.

Teachers even use Spreadsheets for saving each grade acheaved by the students. Other people who use Spreadsheets are Sales People. Sales people use Excel to keep track of how many items they sold today or in a week, how much each item costed and the most important thing to them is how much salery they got.

Supermarkets use spreadsheets on their day to day life to keep track of what they sold, what money they lost and what money they gained. Scientist use Spreadsheets as well to keep track of the results of the current experiment a that is a very important thing during an experiment. This could help them predict if they do this experiment again and change one variable what might be the results and it could even help them study about their experiment.

Engineers use spreadsheets as well. They use it to help count the calculation while making a car, plane, bridge, building etc...They need to now the expense at the end.

Criteria D- evaluating the design

Design Cycle on Advert:

REFLECTION ON ADVERT:
I did this Ad to create awareness for Breast Cancer for women's aged 30-50 in my community. Since it was an awareness Ad the results are not measurable. I would do this more aggressively and I would make my Ad pop up more by making it more colorful. I would like to even improve on making my AD more accessible  like a website , a blog a whats app group etc.. I would like to put in more effort and try to achieve a higher mark.

Reflection for techfair:
The Techfair was a very tiring event but I saw some very good projects that were coded and that were linked to Technology alot. All the projects were really well presented and were all realeted to technology. Behind my stall there was a stall that had something to do with EISM-booking list. She had coded it very well and had put a lot of time and effort into her project. Another stall I liked was beat splash and it was really cool how she did it all by herself. I liked how the paint beated with the music. In our year group I liked Farah's and Amani ( The drawing Robot). During the Techfair event I git tired really quickly. I think me and Divya could have promoted our idea more by making a booklet that had all the information about the Techmobot. Another thing me and Divya could have done to promote our product was to drive it around the P.E hall insted of driving it in our area where we were presenting. Another thing I thought we did could have improved was that talking to the High school students and judges more confidently. My most favorite part was seeing the Techfair projects as they all were extremely good and were related to Technology. The only thing I thought we could have done was bought extra batteries in case the Techmobot died. If we bought extra batteries we could have drove it around the whole P.E hall. Overall i think me and my partner tried our best in our Techfair idea and presented collaboratively and supported each other when we were really tired and exhausted. Overall I really enjoyed the Techfair event even though it was tiring and exhausting, but i really enjoyed looking at the creative project in the Techfair event.
